The world as we know it is gone
Long ago, the beautiful forests and hills of Midgard were invaded by the dead and giants. Since then, the waters of the river have burned the throat, all aesires are gone, and the Valkyries no longer take the slain warriors to Valhalla. It’s all because of the goddess Hel, the mistress of the dead, who is determined to gain power over everything that exists.
Death is no longer an obstacle
You are an immortal, brave warrior, not afraid of death itself. When you die in battle, you are still reborn. Herbalists and shamans shrug their shoulders, wondering why this is happening, but one thing is for sure: only you are able to thwart the goddess of death’s plans and uncover the secret of the disappearance of the aesirs.
